Price

The rent for a 2, 3 & 4 bedroom apartment. The price is €89* per person per week from September 2007 to May 2008. Rent is payable twice yearly, in September and January, at start of each semester.

Deposit

The deposit is €290 payable by cash/Bank draft/Cheque/Credit Card as soon as possible. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the year unless there are deductions for damages or electricity overuse.

Shuttle Bus to University of Limerick

Shuttle Bus to & from UL. No need to worry about the weather. Avail of our frequent shuttle bus service to and from UL.
Students can also use the night link bus to Brookfield Hall from UL, if working late on campus which runs from 7.00pm to 11.30pm

Electricity

Electricity statement changes to Students provide for electricity & utilities the amount of €410 for each semester at the start of the term, €210 of which be allocated to cover the electricity costs, this will cover the costs in almost all cases. The ESB meters will be read each month to monitor usage, bills are added up during the year for each apartment to ensure that abuse of the system does not happen, any overuse will be billed equally to the residents of the offending apartment. The remaining €200 will be allocated to cover other utilities costs such as the shuttle bus, refuse collection, security, phone rental, cable tv and maintenance.

Utilities

A provision of €100 p/p per semester is paid in advance to cover the costs of all utility bills such as Waste disposal,TV,Shuttle Bus,Phone System,Security and Maintenance.

Direct Dial Card Phone System

Direct Dial Card Phone System in each apartment giving free phone calls to your friends in Brookfield Village and a cheap method of keeping in touch with family and friends at home and abroad. As the phone is operated using low cost pre paid card phones there is no fear of you or others running up a big bill.

Facilities in Each Apartment

Each apartment comes fully furnished with cutlery, plates, cups, etc however bed linen is not supplied . Every student has their own bathroom. Each room has individual study space with a broadband connection available to UL Intranet and Internet so complete access to email etc.

Facilities in the Complex

There are full laundry facilities onsite. There is also a full time maintenance man and management office so that any household maintenance problems can be dealt with in an efficient manner. There is a shop onsite that will sell the basics such as bread and milk etc. There are student common areas that are furnished with vending machines and study desks etc.

Games Area

There Large Common Room with large screen TV with the full SKY package and pool tables, for when you want to relax with others.

Internet Café

The Project room is fully equipped with up to date computers from www.dell.com (including broadband connections) for those who don't have their own computers with them. So you can stay in touch with Email or create word documents for your studies

Broadband in your bedroom

You can have your own broadband connection activated by asking reception and paying the connection fee for the semester. This enables you to have low cost access to the web for research or simply to keep your apple iPod or other MP3 player topped up with the latest music tracks downloaded easily from www.apple.com/itunes or elsewhere on the web because of our bandwith availability.

We offer the opportunity for friends to live together if they choose and this facility is also offered on the online application form. Also if you request to live in a 2 / 3 / 4 bedroom apartment specifically we will try to facilitate you.
